Pawesome was launched in December 2009 by two best friends with one very big obsession: pets. Since its launch, the site has expanded to include a handful of writers who report on the varying intricacies of owning pets. You can read more about each of our contributors on our Who Is Pawesome page.
The site’s ultimate aim is to be a fun outlet for those who love all things pet. We publish at least four posts a day, putting the spotlight on animal lovers doing inspiring work, and covering the latest news, DIY pet projects, and product reviews.
Speaking of products, the Outpost is Pawesome’s online store selling pet themed goods, many of which support local rescue organizations.
Pawesome has received numerous awards and recognitions over the years, including:

- Nominated for a 2011 Petties Award for best pet blog.
- Chosen as 1 of 6 sites for modern pet owners by My Modern Met.
