As many of you already know, back in 2006 my beloved pup Lulu was diagnosed with bone cancer. This lead to leg amputation, chemo, and a $10,000 bill from the vet. Luckily the financial blow was lessened thanks to amazing friends who helped make the “I ❤ Tripods” shirt and a ton of supporters who bought it. This adorable fashion statement not only covered Lulu’s vet expenses, but continues to help other loyal pet owners.
Whenever our unofficial charity sends much needed funds to an animal (and owner) in need I like to post about it here so everyone who’s bought a shirt (or is thinking of buying one) can see where their hard earned money goes. Well, recently a lot of you were able to help beautiful Ozzie!

I thought I’d send you off for the weekend with this quirky dog and cat refilling toilet bowl from TKS INT’L LLC. When I was a kid, my grandfather’s golden used to drink out of the toilet. My dogs are too small to even think about taking a drink outta the commode. But with this silly water bowl, any pup or cat can enjoy a refreshing swig from the toilet. My obsession with awesome cat Lil Bub grows daily, which means that I check her Tumblr and Facebook pages regularly in the hopes of seeing adorable new photos and video. Artists Including Ryan Adams and Crystal Antlers Contribute Unreleased Tracks to Help an Injured Kitten
Pawesome readers may already be familiar with the story of the Burger Records kitten — staff at the California indie label rescued the cutie after finding her running around under cars on the freeway. A visit to the vet revealed that the kitten ended up in that dangerous spot by either falling or (sob!) being tossed, and she needed surgery to repair her pelvis and knee.
