Travels with Pawesome — Primate Pets

The Endangered Primate Rescue Center in Vietnam’s Cuc Phuong National Park houses some 140 different species of primates, many of which are endangered langurs native to Southeast Asia. That’s about 9,320 miles! But what makes this story Pawesome-worthy is that about a month into their trip, they picked up a furry hitchhiker in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, an abandoned kitten they named “Kitty,” who became the third member of their backpacking adventure.
