Alaskan Malamutes
With the weather warming up why not take a trip to Alaska to recall the winter that never was. Or, let’s take a trip to Alaska to visit the beautiful Alaskan Malamute. The largest of the spitz type sledding dogs associated with the nomadic Eskimo people of Alaska, these pooches were relied upon for a variety of needs including sled dog, hauling dog, hunting dog, and overall kick-ass pal. So, this week The Etsy Herd mushed our way up to Alaska to spend some time with the Alaskan Malamute.
Hungry Cat is Hungry For Your Electronics
Oh gawd, my cat ate my iPhone! Oh, wait. He’s supposed to do that. The Hungry Cat pouch will gladly watch after your phone, iPod or camera, all while looking soft, snuggly and freaking adorable. Not only do they look like total rock stars but the cockatiel has the laid back rocker-tude to match. Often thought of as a mellow bird to keep close, cockatiels make wonderful pets and not only to look at but to love. Beautifully adorned with bright colors and lovingly always ready to be your best friend if you are lucky enough to keep a cockatiel as a pet you know exactly why The Etsy Herd chose Cockatiels for this week’s roundup.
Rad Cat Stuff from Tshirt99
I happened on Tshirt99′s shop on Etsy and discovered their bounty of cute animal t-shirts, tank tops, and tote bags. It’s true, there are designs featuring dogs, bunnies, chicken, and wild animals, but I personally think the cat designs are the coolest. Here are four of my favorite cat themed products from Tshirt99 (I definitely think I must have that black cat tote). Prices vary from $15.99-$23.99.
