For the Games Nerds, An “All-Cat Spectacular”

The sad news is that Terry Cavanagh, who runs a site called Free Indie Games, had his cat Thomas P. Cat pass away.

Postcard from My Dog

My dad has many wonderful qualities and skills. One of them is that he’s a fantastic photographer, and our dog Bruna (pictured above) is a frequent subject. This is a photo of his that he printed out as a postcard and sent to me when I got my first job after moving to San Francisco. Find out what he – I mean, Bruna – wrote on the card after the jump. Devil Kitty at the Phoenix Hotel

Last week I went to the final show for graduating students at San Francisco Art Institute, held at the Phoenix Hotel. This crazy-eyed kitty painting was at the top of one of the stairs. I couldn’t find out more about him, but he fixed me with his empty stare.

Winged Migration on Your Ceiling

I love these origami bird lamps from Santiago-based designers SiStudio. They are true molded origami, made from an industrial heat-resistant polyester paper. The placement of the lamps mimics how flocks of birds appear as they migrate.
