This blissed-out kitteh is one of the famous polydactyl cats at the Hemingway Home and Museum in Key West. Last week we took an extremely long drive down the coast of Florida for a vacation of sun and key lime pie on a stick. One of our stops was Hemingway’s house, where we met this cutie who had – drum roll, please – seven! toes! He was sleeping behind a bench in front of the pool, and he smiled and smiled while my husband rubbed his tummy and I took a bazillion pictures. Plus, love the stylish purple flea collar, buddy.

Fuck Yeah Dogs and Graduation
Today is an extremely important day for me: after 22 straight years of being a student (elementary, middle, and high school, then college, college, and college again!), I’m finally graduating with my Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree.
