An Interview with Ashley Shoults of Animal Arts
While doing the research for my article about animal shelter design, I had the good fortune to talk to Larry Gates, a principal at Animal Arts, an architecture firm based out of Boulder, CO. Soon thereafter, I started reading the Animal Arts blog, and recently saw a post showcasing a cat play structure that they designed for the Olde Town Pet Resort in Dulles, VA. In the original post, they talk about the basic design guidelines for a structure that cats will enjoy. But I wanted to know more.
