The freeway kitten who almost didn’t make it is now living large in Felton, CA. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to this rescue tale, as Wolfe was recently adopted by friends of mine! Of course this means that I get to visit him whenever I like. Back in September, though, Wolfe visited me!

Wolfe’s mom needed to stash him somewhere while her landlord did some fixes to their apartment, so I happily let him run around Fynn’s room for the day. Little dude and Wolfe got along splendidly, as you can see from the photo above. Fynn even squealed with laughter when Wolfe ran over, stood up on his hind legs, and slapped Fynn across the face (sans claws!). I should mention that this all happened after Fynn pulled on Wolfe’s leg, so little human kind of deserved it.

He’s seriously such an amazing cat. He isn’t scared of a thing, purrs as soon as you pick him up, and is the most playful little monster. Luckily for him, he’s inherited a big brother at his furever home. Hobie, photographed with Wolfe below, patiently wrestles and chases the little black fur ball. And luckily for Kim and Steve, Wolfe’s new humans, they now have a lap kitty who happily obliges to several love fests with them a day. Yay!
