What Was Your Favorite Dog Toys From the ’80s?

When I was a kid, I was way more of a dog person than a cat person, so I was pretty stoked that there were several toys based on canines. I wasn’t much of a Pound Puppies fan though — I thought they looked weird and squished. But I was a huge fan of Wrinkles. If you don’t recall, these were humanoid sharpei stuffed animal puppets that, like Cabbage Patch Kids, came in unique clothing.

Other popular ’80s dogs included Fluppy Dogs, Poochie, and Odie (kinda cheating here, since Garfield was the star, but come on, Odie was cute). Who else am I forgetting ?

OMG! I had so many pound puppies! I think it’s funny you thought they were weird and squished, but liked Wrinkles. Talk about weird and squished!!!
