The Monster Kitty Mash (Up)
Over the weekend I walked into my local stationary store to pick up some thank you cards and was floored when I saw the 2013 calendar display already up. It’s only August!!! Don’t rush the future people!
Then I got home and was reading Catsparella and saw a blog post about a 2013 calendar. What the?! I forgave Stephanie though since she was posting about one amaze-balls calendar featuring a beautiful black cat posing as various famous monsters.
Photographed and designed by Kate Funk, the Super Amazing 100% Awesome Cat Calendar features her cat, AC, as everything from Dracula to Yeti. AC is no stranger to modeling. He regularly models for his mom’s greeting cards (doesn’t he totally remind you of Ryan Gosling in this shot?) which you can find at her Etsy shop. And last year he donned various musical genre threads for Kate’s 2012 calendar.
AC is just further proof that black cats rule.
