How I got my name: I was rescued from the shelter as Sonny, but my mom felt I should be named for my disposition.

How we met: My mom was volunteering at the Glendale Human Society where I bit her. I call it a “love bite,” but the shelter called a write-up. I only wanted to stay out of my kennel and get back outside. When I reached for the leash in her hands, I accidentally snagged her tummy. She obviously fell in love at first bite and now I get to run with her everyday! She’s really into running and dogs and even started a company where she runs dogs. It’s called Trailblazing Tails. We do a lot a trail running, if you can imagine. I dig it.

Personality type: I’m energetic but calm when I’m chilling at home. I am also a little shy until I get to know you because I was in the shelter 5 of the 9 months before my mommy rescued me.

Siblings: Not sure.

Pet peeves: I don’t exactly like it when my mom leaves, but I’ve gotten so much better with training.

Favorite place to lounge: On the couch when my parents leave (I’m not allowed there when they’re home).

Favorite foods: Steak, if I can snag it when no one is looking.

Forbidden indulgences: the couch, burying my bone in the backyard for safekeeping

Strangest habits: licking floors. I know it’s strange, but that’s where I get a lot of information. If you only knew…

Stand-out physical feature: Aside from being incredibly adorable, I have white booties on my paws. People are always complimenting. It’s getting quite boring.

Things you might not know if I didn’t tell or show you: I rescued my mom, and probably my dad. I will love your face off in a matter of minutes. You just have to give me some time. Oh, and I love to sleep upside down against the wall with all four paws to the sky, and sometimes with my eyes slightly ajar.
