Dress Up Your Kitty’s Dome In Hats For Cats

When my brother and I were growing up, we used to spend hours (hours!) creating tiny hats for our cats out of colored paper and ribbon. We’d then precariously put them on top of our model’s head, hoping they’d stay on for longer than a few seconds. We were quite proud of our little creations, but they didn’t come anywhere close to these incredible hats from Etsy seller ToScarboroughFair.

These felted creations are pretty marvelous. Almost as marvelous as the amazingly patient models.

The listings do have some recommended tips for getting your cat to wear a hat from the seller:

A good treat and relaxed mood are always a good start.
Always be very gentle and talk in a warm, soothing voice.
Encourage and praise the kitty for good behavior.
Don’t force the cat if he/she really does not want to “dress up”.
Please don’t use without adult supervision.
Don’t use the camera flash when taking frontal pictures of the pet.

There are seven (!) categories of hats: French wool berets, cowboy hats, sombreros, bows, Elves Witches & Wizards, top hats, and other hats.

You could spend A LOT of time poking around this store.
