SocialPakt Promotes Artists and Animal Rescues

What do I ❤ more than shirts featuring cats, dogs, and other furry friends? Animal tees that support local rescue groups – duh! The ragtag cat ladies I used to hang with in Brooklyn recently sent me a link to a shirt (pictured above) they’ve had made to raise funds for their group Brooklyn Animal Action. The shirt features a beautiful photograph of one of their rescues taken by New York photographer Dawn Bailey Schroeder. She snapped portraits of a few of New York’s adoptables for her Faces campaign, featured on a variety of shirts that each benefit a NYC rescue group. The shirts are sold through SocialPakt, which is a pretty amazing online community that facilitates non-profits and artists to mutually help each other out.

SocialPakt teams up with local artists to design a unique t-shirt for a featured non-profit. The site offers the shirt for a limited time, donating $6 for every sale to the non-profit and $3 to the artist. Shirts sell for between $22 and $25. The project helps raise money for non-profits while giving artists a way to promote their awesome work. So cool! Below are a few of the animal-themed campaigns happening now. Snatch ‘em up while you can.
