Instagram is an online microcosm, where you’re given a peek into other people’s worlds. You can follow the lives of total strangers who live across theglobe, or keep up with the everyday experiences and/or milestones of your closest friends. The best Instagrammers give you a curated, well-composed experience, all filtered through snazzy photographic effects. One of my new favorite Instagram photographers is @thiswildidea (a.k.a. Theron Humphrey) who shoots gorgeous, humorous, and amazing images. My favorite ones, of course, are of his Maine Coonhound, Maddie, who is not only adorable, but has amazing balance.
