My friend Katie has a wickedly charming cat who is a wild thing when it comes to getting his claws clipped. We’re talking full freak out, bunny-kicking, watch out for your eyes insanity.

Fortunately for those of us who live in San Francisco, the SPCA has a claw clipping clinic, where owners can bring their cats to let the professionals have at ‘em.

Date: first and third Sunday of every month
Time: 10am – 100am at the Spay/Neuter Clinic (201 Alabama St.)

No appointment necessary. The cost is $20 per cat.

If you’d rather DIY, but want some pointers, this video may help (although personally I think few cats are as compliant as Charlie here).
