My friend John tipped me off to La Familia Green, his pal Mollie Green’s Chicago-based stationary company that describes its aesthetic as “Mexican folk art meets Scandinavian design meets wildlife preserve … West Texas meets the Midwest.” Amongst La Familiar Green’s myriad designs, Molly makes some really cute pet-themed cards, as she’s an animal lover, too. Mollie and her partner Pete have two great furry muses: a cat named Lemur and a dog named Stickers, who is pretty talented herself — she will soon be filmed on a local TV spot!
