As much as I love dogs, wet dogs are at the top of my list of unfavorite things. Especially wet, dirty dogs. I love seeing happy pups romping in the waves at the beach or swimming in lakes, but as soon as they’re out of the water, I want to be far away from the pooch, until s/he’s finished shaking, rolling, and dripping. Needless to say, I’m all for tools that help you transform a wet soggy dog into a dry doggy dog as quickly as possible.

For one, it has a bone-like shape and has four pockets. One hand goes into one pocket to hold on to your pup, while another goes into another pocket to thoroughly clean and dry. The pockets and shape of the towel allows for you to get in between paws (where mud likes to hide), on gentle spots like ears and faces, and in spots that aren’t so easy to dry with a regular towel, like the underbelly. Why four pockets if you’ve only got two hands, you wonder? Once you’re thoroughly soaked or dirtied two pockets, you can move on to the next two pockets.
