Hello Our Names Are… Beans + Noodles

Name, age, sex, breed: Noodles and Beans, 2 (brothers) Male, Domestic Cats

Owner, city: Ann Sloan, Burbank, CA

How I got my name: Mom always wanted a cat named Noodles. It was James’ Woods character’s name in Once Upon a Time in America. She thought it was a great name for a gangster and a cat. So once Noodles was named, the question was: What do we name his brother, acompletely black cat. The obvious? Beans! They’re the carbohydrate kitties.

How we met: At a shelter adoption event. There were lots of cute kittens but Beans had the loudest purr the parents had ever heard. He hasn’t stopped purring since

Personality type: Both super-friendly, fearless (they like the sound of the vacuum cleaner), loving

Siblings: Each other.

Pet peeves: Beans eats everything. Noodles is fussy. Their pet peeve is not being able to go out and play with all the tasty birds they see from the window.

Favorite place to lounge: Kitchen window, mom’s lap

Favorite foods: Beans: anything. Noodles: any food that is sprinkled with Foodie Cat Seasoning (a long story, see below)

Forbidden indulgences: Birdies

Strangest habits: Beans dives onto his back when someone walks by in order to get belly scratches.

Stand-out physical feature: Loudest purr ever.

Things you might not know if I didn’t tell or show you: Noodles was the muse (or mews) behind mom’s decision to create a unique cat food seasoning called Foodie Cat. He’s a fussy eater and mom was frustrated trying to come up
with something to add to his food to entice him to eat: Foodie Cat Artisanal Cat Food Seasoning was born. Mom became a fully licensed pet food manufacturer and makes Foodie Cat in a commercial kitchen. This is a brand new product and a new adventure for all of us.

Thanks Beans, Noodles and Ann!
