One of the things I miss most about living in San Francisco is attending all the great dog friendly events. The 5th Annual McKinley Dogfest takes place this Saturday, April 14th at Duboce Park. It’s a celebration of dogs and kids benefiting McKinley Elementary School. There are activities for dogs, kids and parents of both breeds. Highlights for the canines include an Everyday Dog Show, a show by Busy Bee Dogs and doggie vendors.

And it wouldn’t be a San Francisco event were it not complete with adoptable dogs from area rescue groups and shelters. Dogfest is from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and admission is free. There is a $15 registration fee for the Everyday Dog Show. Get more information about Dogfest here.
