An American Dog in Paris

Many dog breeds lend themselves well to merchandise and design, and the sleek Boston terrier is definitely one of them. I’m usually not a fan of the dogs-doing-people-things meme, but these fundraiser postcards by illustrator Lili Chin got me good. It’s the artistic interpretation of at least three loves: BTs, France, and cute things. As Lili explains on her website Doggie Drawings, Boston Terrier Rescue France asked if she could make something “French-themed.” And, voila.
In 2010, we raffled a custom portrait from Doggie Drawings, so we’re no stranger to this wonderful work. If you didn’t win but have been itching for a custom portrait, here’s how to commission a Doggie Drawings illustration. And, heart melter: 10 percent of all commissions go to the Boston Buddies rescue in Southern California.
