I don’t know how I missed this one. I like to think I stay up on the animal memes! But this video of Fenton the labrador, seen here chasing deer in Richmond Park in London, got big in November, and I totally missed it. For shame.

Thank god my brother pointed it out to me over the holidays.

Like all good memes, Fenton’s video has spawned derivative mash-ups (“American Werewolf in London” Fenton – actually, they have it as “Benton,” which some people thought the pup’s name was initially – “Jurassic Fenton” and “Chariots of Fenton”), a t-shirt, even a ringtone (sadly, all the links to it that I tried were broken).
