Katherine Heigl Hates Balls
Katherine Heigl hates balls, er, wants you to neuter your pet. In this spoof PSA, the actress and animal welfare activist teams up with Funny or Die to promote neutering your pet in an outrageous way: by declaring her distaste for testicles. This cheeky video is maybe over the top for some, but an important message nonetheless. Heigl and her mother are the founders of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, an animal welfare organization founded in honor of Heigl’s late brother that supports shelter animals and even runs their own internal rescue group. The “I Hate Balls” campaign is the organization’s latest program to promote awareness of spaying/neutering pets.
Personally, spotting a dog with balls always catches me off guard a bit so I find the humor in Heigl’s not-really-serious stance. How about you? Is Ms. Heigl being a bit too, well, ballsy with her message?

I completely agree Ty! The I hate Balls website has lots of great info on why spaying/neutering is so important and offers ways to support the campaign. Humor is a great way to send a serious message.
