Disapproving Nick Disapproves of Holiday Sweaters

I wasn't yelling or lying on him. No matter, as he is still annoyed.

Not St. Nick, of course.

Like all the cool kids (and everyone within a one-mile radius of thrift stores) I go to an annual holiday-sweater party. The hostess of that party has wonderful cats, one of which immediately hides from revelers and one of which is this guy, Nick. His facial expressions above — at a previous sweater shindig — tell Ceiling Cat’s honest truth: he could do without the guests. But he was here first and prefers not to budge.

Here he is, not surprisingly similar, early in this year’s party:

Party animal.

Nick eventually relented and spread out in a dark bedroom, and I hated to see him go. So, I think he might just need some enticement to stay longer next time:

Not Nick.

No one wants to be the only one out of costume, after all.

There’s a great selection of holiday sweaters on Little Pampered Pets; I really dig the sophisticated jackets at San Francisco pet boutique, Best in Show; and these amazing ski sweaters on Pampered Pets would go perfectly with hot chocolate and frozen toes. As always, Etsy comes through with handmade buyer-direct: I think this crocheted pet sweater is most befitting of a festively named cat like Nick.

He will be thrilled.
