Daily Doggie Deals with Doggyloot

I have banished most daily deal emails from my inbox over this last year but when I signed up for Fab.com, I started down a slippery slope. A few weeks ago, I gave in again and signed up for doggyloot, a daily deals site that caters to the canine crowd. Considering my dogs are the only family members in our household not suffering from the economic crisis — why should they have to give up shopping too?! — it makes perfect sense to indulge in some dog friendly discounts.

I’ve already bought two deals on doggyloot and what I love about them is that both purchases were totally necessary. Okay, mostly necessary. I ordered a 10 pack of large assorted bully sticks from BestBullySticks.com for just $16 and a six-bag variety of Soft and Chewy Buddy Biscuits for $24. Two things my pups love:  bully sticks and Buddy Biscuits. (Side note: the Buddy Biscuits deal is good through the end of this week if your pup is a soft treat connoisseur like mine.) Other recent offered deals have included toys, elk antlers, custom identification collars, squeakers, etc.

Doggyloot was started in December ’10 but it just popped up on my radar so I thought I’d share the wealth savings. The newly added doggywoof section offers other resources and entertaining snippets for dog owners. Sign up here for the daily deal email alerts and if you refer friends to the site, you’ll earn $10 in doggyloot dollars when they make their first purchase.

If you’re anything like me, most of your shopping involves pet necessities and goods and I’m always happy to save a little cheddar when I can. Speaking of cheddar…my dogs love that too.

P.S. Fab.com often has great canine/feline related deals as well. They typically fall under the splurge category but oh how fun they are to look at.
