If you’re like me, you’re still running around grabbing last minute ingredients for Thanksgiving. While Bruce has baked three desserts we’ll bring to my folks’, we also need to come bearing libations. And lots of them. Obviously on my list are many of my mom’s favorite Chardonnays, but I’m hoping I can slip in one of Mutt Lynch Winery‘s bottles into the mix.

The Healdsburg-based winery not only features beautiful dog-themed artwork on their bottles, but they donate a portion of their sales to local animal rescue groups. There’s also a wino dog, Patch a retired greyhound from New Zealand, who can often be found napping around the winery. You and your pup are even welcome to visit the winery together, as Mutt Lynch is dog-friendly.

Every year the California winery hosts a competition looking for a piece of dog art to feature on a limited edition run of bottles. This year’s winner is Rusty by Kimberly Kelly Santini
