Pawesome Pet Décor in the New York Times
Check out today’s New York Times‘ Home section for a story by yours truly (wha-what?) on pet owners who designed their homes to truly accommodate their pet’s needs. I got to chat with some amazing folks who each had creative solutions to common pet needs — beds large enough for a Great Dane’s frame, food stations that keep greedy pets from scarfing down the whole furry families’ meals, a modern update on the cat tree, and much more.
I want to thank all the pet owners, architects, and designers that helped me out with this story, along with Pawesome’s bloggy friends (Moderncat, Desire to Inspire, and Dog Milk) for helping spread the word when I was looking for animal lover’s to write about.
Hope you guys like the piece. It’s always been a dream to write for the Times, but to write for the prestigious paper about pets, well, I just about died and went to heaven.
