Martha Stewart Debuts New Line for PetSmart
I want Martha Stewart in my life somehow. Friend? Confidant? Collaborator? Anything. She is a powerhouse of well thought design and her new pet line for PetSmart is proof positive of that. The recently launched collection, which is available in select store this week and nationwide next week, is heavy on dog items, though there are some bowls and beds that could work for both kitties and pups. After the jump check out some of my faves… Now if only she'd design a reasonably priced automatic pet feeder!

Martha Stewart 3-Piece Bowl Set: Crazy brilliant! This bowl lets you bring in a shot of color to your feeding station with melamine, but keeps your pet safe from harmful bacteria that may sit in plastic bowls by including a stainless steel insert. As if that weren't enough, the bowl has its own snap-on cover if your furry friend isn't as big of a foodie as my cats. Comes in a two bowl version (shown above) as well. ($11-19)
Martha Stewart Feeding Mat: This silicone map has a lipped border, designed to keep kibble or wet food from falling onto rugs or floors, but it could also prove useful in deterring ants. Pour a small layer of water on the mat and the lip should keep it in, creating a pool no ant would dare fall into.
Martha Stewart Waste Pad Tray: Wee Wee pads are great when house training, but they can only hold so much liquid. This lipped tray helps ensure nothing spills over to the floors you're trying to protect in the first place. ($20)
Martha Stewart Crochet Squeak Toy: For moderate chewers, you may have to fight with your dog on who gets to play with these crochet adorableness. ($10)
Martha Stewart Grooming Tote: Know someone who recently adopted? Give them a welcome home gift basket that will keep their new furry friend smelling delicious and looking their best. ($20)
Martha Stewart Food Scoop: Give your dog a healthy portion of kibble in style! Love how old school kitchen these look like. They could easily fit in hanging over a vintage 1950s stove. ($8)
Martha Stewart Bone-Shaped Biscuit Cutters: Making homemade biscuits is the best gift you can give your canine companion. Just make sure to shape 'em in into bones so hungry human visitors don't take a bite! ($8)
Martha Stewart Bone-Handle Treat Jar: Store those yummy biscuits in one of these treat jars, made from melamine. I've always been a sucker for Martha's trademark blue…($20)
Martha Stewart Bolster Bed: Pillow top cushion? Check! Subtle bone design? Check! ($25-35)

I want Martha to be my BFF! She’s my hero.
I love the bowls and the treat containers. The signature blue is my favorite as well, especially as it has a tint of Tiffany goodness.
Oh wow! Love this stuff. I had no idea Martha was doing this and the colors…just great!Do you mind if I blog this? with a link back to you (of course) Cate
@blanket: But of course! Make sure you also credit GrassRoots Modern, who tipped me off to the collection.
The toys seemed like they wouldn’t hold up against busy chewers.

I just saw the toys at Petsmart and they are of really good quality! I was actually really surprised. They seem like they would hold up for the majority of dogs. They are both cute and of really good quality(:
