Fire at Berkeley Animal Shelter This Morning Foster Homes Needed!
Just got an email from a reader about a fire at the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society. The fire started at 1 a.m. this morning. As the cat sheltering area — along with the offices and laundry room — was the main area affected, at least a dozen cats didn’t make it. Fortunately, most of the cats and dogs were rescued by volunteers, but now, the shelter is hoping that folks will come forward to foster these animals in need. Read the whole story about the fire on Berkeleyside.
