Apparently, Mickey Rourke insisted that his character Whiplash in Iron Man 2 have a cockatoo sidekick. He said to Entertainment Weekly, "I told [Jon] Favreau, ‘I don’t want to just play him as a
one-dimensional pussy.' “He let me
have a cockatoo, who I talk to and get drunk with while I’m making my suit.â€? Bird lover or not, most would probably say a good bird a good man doesn't make, but Vince Mancini at FilmDrunk.com and Uproxx decided to test Rourke's theory.
