Owner, city: Jeff and Melissa Lohrmann ” Ridgeland, MS

How I got my name: It was between Lanie and Lulu. Both seemed liked the perfect goat name but when mom and dad saw me, they could already tell I was too prissy to be a Lulu.

How we met: My parents had a goat before me that they saved named Daisy. She was so sick and only lived a year and a half. When she passed away my mom couldn’t get over the loss and my dad hated to see her that upset. So he got on the Internet and researched farms that tested their goats and really took care of them. He found a place right outside Orlando, FL called Better Blues Farm. My mom and dad contacted them via e-mail and explained their story. The owner loved it and when her first doe gave birth for the season, I was the only girl. I was exactly what my parents asked for ” white with spots and blue eyes!

Siblings: Just a human brother, Nick. He doesn’t claim me half the time since he thinks our parents have lost their mind. Typical brother/sister relationship ” I irritate him and he will irritate me. Maybe one day we will grow out of it.

Personality type: I am VERY independent. I like to play like a dog (only I get really rough) but when I am done I am more like a cat (“Get away from me, I am done with you!�)

Pet peeves: Touching my face!!!! Sneaking up behind me ” While I am not a fainting goat ” it is still really creepy and scary. People who let their kids wake me when I am sleeping so they can see/touch me. I know I am cute and all but how would they feel if as soon as they got their baby asleep, I woke their kid up!

Favorite place to lounge: The bed, in front of the fire place when it is turned on, and my green chair ” man I love that chair and it is about to break (maybe I should diet or something).

Favorite foods: Man ” where do I begin: Grapes, Cheerios snack mix, corn nuts, any kind of chip, Gummies, chocolate, boiled peanuts, crackers, Crunch 'n Munch, tops of strawberries, (we could be here all day!) Let me tell you what I don’t like ” Dairy products and meat!

Forbidden indulgences: Red wine, Vodka and OJ, and Bloody Marys. Every now and then I get a little sip!

Strangest habits: I make a sound that is not a goat sound when you have my favorite food in your hand. It is my version of begging but I sound in pain. I check all the doors in the house to the rooms I am not allowed in to see if I get lucky. When my mom makes me mad ” I push my booty in the air and turn my head towards it like I am saying “Hey woman, kiss this!â€? Really I am just dropping my scent to remind her which of us is the Alpha Female.

Stand-out physical feature: My eyes ” both the color of my eyes and the color around them. It looks like perfect make-up. I also look like I am wearing knee boots!

Things you might not know if I didn’t tell or show you: I don’t bite! People always tell their kids to watch out, I might bite, but I don’t even have teeth on top in the front. I also don’t kick (I’m not a Donkey). I have four stomachs ” guess that explains the weight. I don’t eat tin cans ” I don’t even play with tin cans. I am house broken ” my parents have yet to figure out if they house broke me or if I house broke them. Either way ” I go outside.
