Perhaps in her past life she was into some kinky S&M; stuff. All I know is that P. Kitty loves to get her ass spanked. And P.’s not alone — lots of cats around the world enjoy a little (or a lot) of loving taps near the base of the tail. Why? It may be because that area is just hard to reach and so it’s a special treat to have it touched, but there are also a lot of nerve endings in that spot which may feel good to some cats when touched (why your cat puts its butt up in the a ir when you pet it there).
